Trevor and Elizabeth welcomes you in their comfortable, well furnished B & B, where you can relax at the foothills of the Magaliesburg Mountain Range in Waverley, Pretoria.
The atmosphere is warm and friendly with luxurious double en-suite bedrooms.

Smoking is not allowed in rooms, but smokers are welcome to have a drink and a smoke in the lapa area or outside the bedroom. Amazing views over the city of Pretoria which is also known for it's Jacaranda Tree flower spectacular, specifically in the months of October / November.
Very relaxing and out of town feeling, yet so close to the city centre.

La Gauche is a 35 minutes drive from O R Tambo International Airport. The CSIR, The University of Pretoria as well as the Union Buildings are in close proximity to us.

We are approximately 8 kilometres from Loftus Versfeld. The Botanical Gardens (6 km away) is a wonderful place for a picnic on a Sunday afternoon.

La Gauche B & B is situated approximately 2 km from the N1 Polokwane (Pietersburg) highway and in walking distance from the Waverley Plaza shopping centre with restaurants, a Pick and Pay (Food Retailer) , Liquor store, PNA bookshop, etc. Across the Plaza there is a Medical clinic and Gym. Laundromat service is available and bus stops are situated in front of the Plaza.

The Menlyn Shopping Centre is approximately 12 km away.

Tourist attraction for day trips in and around Pretoria include amongst other the Pierneef Museum, Melrose House, known for its excellent Victorian architecture. The Union Buildings, Sammy Marx Museum. The National Zoological Gardens as well as the well known Cullinan Mine.

Other leisure attractions include - Hartbeestpoort Dam, Sun City, Lost City and Caesar’s Parlace, Pilanseberg game reserve, several Golf courses and game viewing.
